Report: Chris Christie Excited about Prospects of Rehabilitating Reputation by Working for Trump
TRENTON, NJ - As more White House officials see their reputations assaulted by harsh media coverage, including Obama holdovers, fewer Americans are willing to risk their good name by joining the Trump administration, which is why Trump is grateful for people like Chris Christie, who have already had their reputations destroyed.
“Typical White House officials come in with sterling reputations ripe for tarnishing. However, because my reputation has already been dragged through the mud, it can only improve,” explained former New Jersey governor when contacted by The Satirical Post.
Trump admits he has been in contact with Mr. Christie about several potential roles, including NASA Director, Supreme Court Clerk and personal assistant to Jared Kushner.
The Satirical Post reached out to Mr. Kushner, who is married to Ivanka Trump and also responsible for bringing peace to the middle east, and asked him about having Mr. Christie as his personal assistant.
“My father-in-law and I tried to find something for Chris that wouldn’t come with a lot of scrutiny. So we've decided to fire Jeff Sessions and make Chris the new attorney general, and then force Chris to fire Rosenstein. We'll be announcing all this tomorrow,” said Mr. Kushner.
