LOS GATOS, CA - Wednesday morning Netflix announced Hillary Clinton will take on the role of president in a new drama set in a nostalgic American period when summer camps didn’t have cages.
“This unique period piece is set in 2016, a time before summer camps had cages. Every week we'll portray the exact opposite of what the Trump administration does in real life. It’s my hope that by brining everyone an alternative reality we can make the world a better place,” said Hillary Clinton, former Secretary of State.
When asked if she felt any hesitation playing the president on tv after she lost the 2016 election, Mrs. Clinton responded, "It’s horrible what is happening on our borders, but if this is what it takes for me to finally be president, even if it’s fake, well I’m all in.”
Many Netflix executives see this show as a way of giving back to the world that has personally enriched them.
“We at Netflix have been struggling with the idea of helping these children at the border. After much internal debate, we felt giving them quality programing highlighting an alternative reality where Hillary won the 2016 election would be the solution to their problems,” said Netflix CEO Reed Hastings.
When told that the children he is trying to help wouldn’t be able to watch the show due to the fact they don’t have computers, iPads or smartphones, Mr. Hastings responded, “Well then we’ll just have to lobby congress until they add a media budget to the detention cages.”
